Arkansas Fishing Guide Service | Mountain Home Arkansas | Boats, Bait, Tackle

Great boats, the freshest bait, and proven tackle make our fishing guide service in Mountain Home Arkansas more fun and more exciting.

As our name implies, we focus on light line fishing.

Why light line? It's a thrill. There’s nothing more exciting than hooking into a fifteen to twenty-five pound game fish on six to eight pound line.

Our Fishing Boats.

We fish from a 21 foot Blazer Bay center console with a 200 horsepower Johnson and a 21.5 foot Viper Cobra Bay center console with a 225 horsepower Honda 4 stroke. These boats prove to be the best bet for safety and maneuvering. Center consoles give you the flexibility of moving all the way around the boat in the event you hook into that big boy.

Our Fishing Rods - use our proven rods or bring your own.
6' 6" and 7' Fishing Edge for bait and lure fishing, and an 8', 8' 6" and 9' Fishing Edge fly rods for fly fishing. These rods have proven to be exceptional in standing up to the demands of guiding.

Our Fishing Reels:
Our mainstay for bait and lure is the Shimano 2000 Symetre. We test other reels and have some on the boat, but the Shimano has proven to be an excellent choice with the rods and light line we use. For fly fishing, White River reels are what we use almost exclusively.

Flies:
All flies tied by your guide.
