Arkansas Fishing Guide Service | Mountain Home Arkansas | About our Guide Service

About us and the history of our professional fishing guide service in Mountain Home Arkansas.
Lee’s Lite Line Guide Service was established in 2003.

Robert Lee learned the lakes and rivers from Charles Pate of C & P Guide Service.

Charles Pate has been a full time fishing guide on Lake Norfork, the Norfork and White rivers since1994, and is known and respected for his honesty, integrity, hard work, and knowledge.

Robert Lee has been fishing in Mountain Home since 1994 when he came to visit Charles, who is Robert Lee's father-in-law. Robert and his family fell in love with Mountain Home, the area, and the possibility of making a living doing what Robert loves most... fishing in one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

In 2003, Robert sold his business and home in California and headed east to Mountain Home Arkansas to pursue his dream and become a fishing guide.

Robert learned the ropes by  working closely with Charles Pate and C & P Guide Service. Like C & P, the Lee's Lite Line philosophy is hard work, honesty, integrity and knowledge.

With a fun and easygoing personality, and a love of both fly and bait fishing, Robert Lee makes fishing trips and fishing vacations in the Mountain Home area great experiences for all.

Why light line? There's nothing more exciting when hooking big fish!
There’s nothing more exciting than hooking into a fifteen to twenty-five pound striper on six to eight pound line with light spinning reels. Hook into one of these big brutes and a 15 to 30 minute fight is not out of the question.

When fishing with such light tackle, and targeting big game fish, a good fishing guide is a must. It’s much easier to use heavier equipment and just horse them in the boat, but not nearly as much fun.

Why let Lee's Lite Line be your guide to Mountain Home fishing?
Experience, Honesty, Integrity, Hard Work, Knowledge... and great fishing.

We're always honest about the fishing conditions.
Since fishing guides make their living only when they have a client in the boat, it’s not unheard of for a fishing guide to tell you how amazing the fishing is, even if it’s horrible. At Lee’s Lite Line fishing guide service, we prefer to tell the truth and then let our customer make the decision to schedule a trip or not. Obviously, if you are booking for a future fishing trip, there's no way for any guide to predict future fishing conditions on the Lake or rivers, but we can recommend the best fishing months of the year.

Reliability and integrity, safety and great attitudes result in a great time.
Book a trip with us and you will soon realize the Lee's Lite Line difference.
We arrive on time, ready to go fishing, with all the gear prepared. We love fishing and will do everything we can to make fishing with us the best fishing experience you have ever had.

Thorough knowledge of fly fishing and bait fishing.
We understand that every fisherman is different. We bait fish 96% of the time on Lake Norfork, no fly fishing yet. The rivers are your choice, fly fishing, bait fishing, or lure fishing.

Our hard work begins long before you get on the boat, and after.
No one will work harder for you than we will. Our day starts hours before you arrive. Your boat will be fully prepped, fully stocked, and the bait caught just hours before you step on (for those who prefer bait fishing). After fishing, we will be glad to fill you in other activities and things to do in Mountain Home to make your vacation complete and thoroughly enjoyable.

Fresh, lively bait (for those who prefer bait fishing).
We make sure to have all of the fresh lively bait you’ll need for your trip, with no quick runs back to the marina for more.

We're fishing 4-6 days every week, so we always know where to fish.
We’re out fishing four to six days a week. Even when not on paid guided trips, our goal is to produce for those who fish with us, so we fish all the time.

Local knowledge of the rivers, the depths, the bait, the tackle.
A big lake and river,  knowledge of Lake Norfork and the White River is a must. We keep an eye on where the fish are, the best depth for fishing, and the best bait and/or tackle to use. We are also constantly in touch with other bait and fly fisherman and always have the latest local knowledge.

Count on Lee's for a great fishing trip and many memories.
When you make us your fishing guide on Lake Norfork, the North Fork River, the White River, or the surrounding Mountain Home area, you can count on a great day of fishing, with no worries, and a safe and fully stocked boat.

Superior area knowledge... about fishing and Mountain Home.
We will be glad to help you make the most of your trip to the Mountain Home area, fill you in things to do, where to stay, and much more.

Let's go fishing!
